A toy made to troll traditional banks
TED Lover
PR Stunt for Nubank at Nubank CreativeLabRole:
Lead Copywriter
Cultural Background:
"TED" is a Brazilian acronym for Electronic Fund Transfer (Transferência Eletrônica Disponível). Brazilians use a TED when they need to transfer money to another bank account instantly.
The idea:
NuConta, Nubank's current account, has free and unlimited TEDs. But some traditional banks were still charging as much as R$19,05 for a single transfer.
So we showed everyone a better way of using that money by creating an exclusive "TED Bear" that anyone could buy for the same R$19,05.
